GU Automatic is worldwide known for innovative, secure and reliable solutions in the sectors door automation, all-glass systems and controlled physical access systems. As a member of the GU group, GU Automatic develops and produces all its products in Rietberg, East Westphalia. More than 220 employees in Rietberg will be supported by a nationwide net of sales representatives and own GU subsidiaries as well as skilled partner companies.

Our GU Service company controls the after-sales sector. Only in Germany it relys on a closely net of more than 70 service technicians. Short distances and fast reaction times secure a maximum availability of our automatic sliding doors, revolving doors, swing doors, all-glass systems and controlled physical access systems.

Automatic sliding doors

In the passed years GU Automatic basicly developed three different types of automatic sliding door drives for different requirements. First, the compactMaster CM, it offers a wide range of variants and will be available as 1-leaf and 2-leaf automatic sliding door with sliding leaves in G30 fine framed construction. Available as redundant CM-F version as well, it is tested and suitable for use in escape and rescue routes (AutSchR – German directive governing automatic sliding doors in rescue routes).

The second type econoMaster EM also allows the possibility to use sliding leaves made from common aluminium profiles. Wooden sliding leaves may also be used with econoMaster EM. This type as econoMaster EM-F variant meets the relevant requirements of escape route doors, too.

For sliding panels with large dimensions and heavy weights we developed the robust and reliable heavyMaster HM drive. Sliding panels framed with thermally broken profile systems or steel profiles are ideally suited for assembly with heayMaster HM. The HM-F drive system is tested and suitable for use in escape and rescue routes (AutSchR).

Escape route doors

As mentioned before all GU Automatic drive types are available as escape route doors as well. In the course of this, we developed a very special sliding door system, the escape route sliding door HM-F FT. It is the only automatic sliding door in the market who is approved as an escape door when locked.

Of course, also our GU Automatic revolving doors GRA and GGR are available as escape route doors.
